Bearman Cartoon: Where’s George

Bearman Cartoon of George Bush lying on Beach as Obama Takes a Beating in the Press

Noel Curry of DJ Bogtrotter fame had a challenge to cartoonists to do a cartoon without dialogue.  He designated May 14 as Dialogue Free Comic Day.  This is what I originally planned to post as he said dialogue on signs, etc was OK.  But I came up with one that may be a little less obvious but fits the entire bill that I will post on Friday.  So that is TWO…count em TWO Dialogue Free Comics for your enjoyment.

Don’t forget the charity challenge.  Click link for how you can help at no cost to you.

what the hell is in his PINK drink?

  2. Chris W. says:

I knew he was a sissy drinker. And after all that big Texas talk.

  3. Hahaha … GREAT likeness, Bearman! 🙂

  4. Friggin Loon says:

Blahahaa Bearman there is hope for him yet. I was going to say something mean about your weird attempt at drawing seagulls but then thought better of it 🙂

    • Bearman says:

That’s waves in the ocean. But now i see what you saw. No it is one of those magic drawings that show two different things depending on how you look at it.

  5. susispice says:

i thought this was one of your best works bearman! lol

hilarious! Yup Georgie-Boy Jnr enjoying his pink lemonade and gitty about him being out of the publics mind..hoping for a comeback?

  6. Duncanr says:

Hey, Bearman – do we get to add our own caption to the dialogue-free toon you’re going to post on Friday ? 😆

  7. Bo Lumpkin says:

This one says it all. It don’t need no talkin’. Great one Bearman.

  8. I think you’re right Bearman, he’s happy being out of the limelight.

Although, George in shorts with no shirt? Creepy…..

    : )

  9. Corve says:

I’m sure George is happy he’s out. Fewer threats

  10. MJ says:

    HA! Where’s George! Funny stuff.

  11. Nate Fakes says:

I always wanted to know where George was during his 8 years?

  12. DadaHyena says:

Let’s just all be grateful that he’s got some shorts on.

  13. David says:

I think George may be asking himself the same question in the title, “Where am I now?” Although it’s more a meta-physical question than a physical one.

  14. Tony says:

Ha Ha Good likeness. I knew it was Ronald Reagan as soon as I saw him… 😀
Unlike so many others I won’t comment on his girly drink, although I think it is a great idea to protect the ice cubes from the hot melting sun with the little umbrella. It really shows a very sensitive side to him. I don’t understand why he has a little red clown nose on a stick in his drink though.

  15. George says:

I bet Bush is doing exactly that. He’s just sitting kicked back watching the aftermath of all the BS he started. 🙂

  16. bschooled says:

Well, this is one politically-based cartoon I can understand…(er, I think.)

I agree with Tony, the likeness is uncanny!

  17. FJ says:

Its a great likeness of Waldo.

  18. jammer5 says:

Shouldn’t he have a rolled up dollar bill and a mirror?

  19. Dan Long says:

Nice! I would be doing this too, after any big job, really, let alone the presidency. Especially if people disliked me and I could keep tabs on my successor’s failings. Ah, schadenfreude.

  20. lynn says:

yep, that’s what i’ve been doing too, reading about obama’s ratings slide and drinking a tropical drink! still trying to figure out exactly what kind of drink this is but does it really matter?

  21. oh….. george.

speaking of george, i have been neglecting addanac city.
