So it seems yesterday was International Women’s Day. And while some women support the day as a way to highlight the struggles and oppression women face all over the world, other women are saying WTF. Only one day??

Ain’t it amazing how we can let the big important days get by without noticing it. Do they have a parade or anything for National Women’s Day.

really, feminism did work wonders and I am thankful for that but we did lose out on a lot of things too….
1. men knowing that their responsibility was to provide a comfortable living for their wife and their kids and failure to do this would result in death by poisoned tea/coffee.
2. Men no longer are men. A lot of men dont know how to do manly things, they have lost their manhood. piss weak metrosexuals piss me off.
3. gentlemanly manners went out the window
4. Men are confused. They know how if theyre coming or going. Every woman now has different expectations of a man that women like me get disappointed when we come across who guy who believes and THINKS I should pay 50% of everything…oh how wrong you are…
and many others but i will probably be berated by many people who think im anti feminist..i am not..i just think we are taking it too far sometimes… particularly in countries where feminism really took off. I agree in other societies it is almost totally absent…
I know people from certain cultures were the man and woman roles are clearly defined and when it works well it is like a dream come true. I wouldnt mind cooking, cleaning, looking after the kids etc while my husband brought home the bacon (TOP of the line of course) in exchange for all the worldly goods being in my name. hehe there are pros and cons to each situation.

Was I supposed to get the women I know something? Hopefully they overlook “Men’s Day,” whenever that is, so I don’t look too bad.
They overlooked it so hard that they don’t even have one. Can you believe that?
Plus how come they don’t have a Couples with No Kids Day. How come parents and grandparents always seem to get theres.
Let’s don’t start addin’ days. I think we need to start cuttin’ out some of the special days. I have enough to forget already without addin’ more.
I think I am going to start a Bearman Day. Celebrate by drinking a beer and sending me donations.

The funny thing is everytime I put red hair on a female cartoon my wife thinks I am poking fun at her.
Nothing says I care like that oh so special “Happy International Women’s Day Card”. If they make them, I guess (seems like this is an unexploited market).

I didn’t do anything in particular for this day, but I’m thinking we should start a tradition or something. Let’s see, for Women’s day how about all the credit card companies forgive all credit card debit? That’s sounds pretty good for everyone! I bet people would really look forward to Women’s day if all the credit card companies forgave all credit card debit on that day.

Mine gets treated like a queen everyday. I get one day…ok the whole birthday week.
Many women did not even know the way was to celebrate their achievements. Its a pity but they are so important-we hail them everyday.

True Story. I happen to work with one of the first female pilots in the world. Yesterday while everyone was calling to congratulate and interview her for Women’s Day she found time to have a huge Menapause Dragon Attack. Someone told her “Hey Captain, lighten up. It’s your day today.” and she said exactly what the woman in your cartooon said, “Really, I hadn’t noticed!”
haha…I am glad I wasn’t witness to the “huge Menopause Dragon Attack” I think Godzilla would be cowering.

International Women’s Day is actually Valentine’s Day – so they must get two holidays. If you think about it, Valentine’s Day is TOTALLY a woman’s holiday. If you don’t buy your woman a gift on that day – you’re dead. If YOU don’t get a gift (and you’re a guy), you’re deal with it and not care too much. Thus making it a woman’s day!

Every day is woman’s day at our house, I love my wife dearly & appreciate everything she does. I’ll let her do the cooking, I’ll let her chop the wood, I’ll let her mow the lawn, I’ll let her wash the car, I’ll let her dig the veggie garden. Then I’ll tell her how much I appreciate her efforts…
Mine tells me to do all that stuff and then says things like “You know you look really sexy cleaning the cat litter” As if.

I just found out recently that this month is Women’s History Month. That’s something I had never heard of. We need to be nice to the ladies, give our women a break, and let them get off their feet so they can lay on their backs.
