Today’s guest cartoon comes from new dad Ken Drab of Rick the Stick. Ken is the only guest cartoonist’s to take on the challenge of replacing his cartoon character with that of a television star. In this case, Rick takes over the role of B.A. Baracus from Mr T in the A-Team. For those who didn’t follow the A-Team, B.A. didn’t like to fly so they always had to drug him before going anywhere. And everyone knows those medallions Mr T wore had to weigh a ton.
Ken is also a branding guru (even better than those who claim to be on twitter) and one of the founding members of a great webcomic resource, The Webcomic Alliance. Head over there because by now he has posted a critique of Beartoons. I told him to be brutally honest and he promised not to hold back so I can’t wait to see how I can improve the Beartoons experience for all of you in 2011.

Good one Ken. I always wondered how BA stayed standing with all that metal around his neck. Good to see you have revealed the truth
Thanks Tony. I can attest to how this all went down too. I was there. 😉
When it comes to B.A. levels of bling, it’s best to lift with your legs or you’ll be on your back! 🙂
You can always count on Ken for some wacky entertainment! Good work, Ken!
Haha – thanks George!
I just saw an old (obviously) pic of Nancy Reagan sitting on Mr. T’s (who was wearing a half Santa suit) lab talking about the war on drugs. It was some surreal shit!
Blahahaah I remember that Scotty. She was on Different Strokes too 🙁
Was it a very special episode?
Ha,ha,ha! Funny stuff
Thanks MJ – although all the credit goes to Bearman. I asked for the idea and he came up with a gem.
I pity the fool that don’t laugh at that. Good job Ken.
I don’t know why I signed in with your name and I deeply apologize. I might be having one of those senior moments again. Wow, I’ve never done that before.
Except when you tried to pass yourself off as me at the bank.
I won’t do that again. They made me pay your overdraft.
Haha – I read this comment after I replied. It’s all good! If you did go around replying as me, people might think I was funnier! 🙂
Thanks Bo – interesting you used my name for your reply!! Regardless, like I said above, it was Bearman’s concept I just supplied the crummy artwork! 🙂
Thats funny. I just got to see the movie A Team. I loved it. It is too funny to see what they made it today when the old school show was so cool.
Bearman, thanks for the opportunity to help out – and the great concept!!
I always wondered about those medals. I think my Mum always wondered about me watching too much TV. Do TV-eyes weigh heavy?
Don’t blame me for this Ken!! haha j/k. Seriously all the credit goes to you for making it easy with a great character like Rick. It wrote itself.
