  1. When you make it a challenge you really make it a challenge don’t you? Now I am going to have to sign up for facebooka and twitter and I had already been planning to make mention you in a blog. It is all for a good cause and I salute you for the good work you do.

    • Thanks Bo. As always, I appreciate all the support. Maybe do Mildred as Glady’s Kravitz from Bewitched.

      • I don’t know diddley about Bewitched or Glady’s Kravitz. I am planning a complete reversal of what you do. You take real people and turn them into cartoons. I am going to take Buster and turn him into a real photograph. How will that work for you?

  2. Oh, man! I can’t wait to see what I come up with for this year’s! I’m so excited!

  3. I don’t use many networking outlets but I revived my facebook account long enough to “like” you. Is that the same as being a fan? I couldn’t see a “fan” button

  4. Ohhhh, a guilt trip, eh? Nice of you to take advantage of my Catholic upbringing!

Challenge accepted. Look for a guest cartoon from me sometime soon!

  5. Count me in, Bearman. I’ve got so many ideas – now I just have to narrow them down (what to choose, what to choose …)! :)

  6. Geez Bearman, how much will you donate if I delete you off my blogroll, Facebook and Twitter ? Just kidding, gosh!!!!! Foodbank is a great charity I shall see what I can do!

  7. Blaahahaha Bearman you called my bluff :) Anywho I have a few ideas….stay posted :)

  8. Great idea, Bearman. Will you be donating retroactively?

I’m going to do a freestyle guest cartoon just for you. It will be just as good as my sculptures…maybe even better!

  9. Just so you know, I finally registered on facebook and I clicked on your like you button. I also wrote a blog that mentioned you but I left home without putting it on my portable drive so I will post it Thursday on my Gatorhead site. All you people doing all these good deeds are causing me to do a bunch of stuff I should have already done. Thanks.

  10. Aw man, rough timing! But I’m a sucker for a good cause so you can count me in! ;)

  11. okay, i really love this post! i’ve scoured through your items at whacksack and come up with an idea!! i’ll be back……….

  12. OMG This is great!

  13. Great website! Thank you for being someone who is willing to spend the time and effort to raise money for worthy causes. While he doesn’t have Downs Syndrome, my son is severely physically and mentally disabled. We are in the process of trying to afford to build a house that will help us better attend to his needs. While I’m not an artist, I have tried to support our financial needs by taken a stab at writing a book that I hope will help us raise enough money to build. It’s called “My 70′s Book”…

  14. You certainly make a fun challenge. Does this mean I’ve been following you for a year?

    • I think you started last June in my last one after a call from Claire Collins who has since disappeared to become a book selling entrepeneur.

  15. Well, You’re already on my blog roll and I already “liked” you on Facebook!! I guess I’ll have to feature you on a blog post tomorrow (friday) with a link to the charity drive! It’ll be there by 7, as you know!
    Great thing you’re doing!

  16. My post is up!

  17. Ted

Just started following on twitter! Thanks for the great example of creative marketing. Just goes to show you can kill two birds with one stone with the right solution.

  18. Just back from hols and sprinting around the blogosphere to catch up with friends. I will be back, as some buffoon once said, to spend your dosh for you!

  19. Emailed you my comic submission!

  20. I definitely cost you at least $7 so far then with the add to my blogroll and the Facebook fanage. The food bank is an amazing service; I used to volunteer in Pittsburgh.

  21. I’ve put together a bit more stuff for your challenge, Bearman.
I plan to post it Monday, so if you get a chance check it out then (guess I’m trying to take a few more bills out of your wallet, sir)! :)

  22. gr8 initiative man!
    good luck!
    I’ve set up a new blog http://seeseebirdbird.wordpress.com/
    it’s all about bird photograpny

  23. OK, Bearman, I’ve taken up the challenge (so to speak). The challenge is linkified!

  24. WOW! I ***love*** this!!!!! (Sorry for the capitals, but I was too excited).

Every Thursday I blog about small steps towards working with others to create enough for everyone. You just gave me my next post ($10, ka-ching!). And I’m going to follow you on Twitter ($2, ka-ching!).

More power (and traffic) to you!
