  1. Okay. You wanna play rough? Okay. Say hello to my little comment! :)

  2. Nah…I’ve never thought about it. BUT, Mr. YnB had his mug placed in an Indiana Jones poster several years back and it was so real looking that we have it in our media room. It’s so funny to see if people react to it. Many don’t notice, but those that do (or finally notice after having passed it many times in the past) can’t believe how real it looks!

  3. wow that’s cool…i’d like to mess around with this tutorial! photoshop is intense, i wonder how easy it would be for a novice?

  4. I might do this later.

  5. Can I shop my face into a Darth Vader mask?

  6. I don’t think I want my face on posters. Actually my face is better suited for radio.

  7. My stick figure said paints good enough for him/her . . . whichever.

  8. Yay! A way to spend the entire weekend! You know what I like, Bearman. :)

  10. I’m not really awesome at it but I use GIMP which is a free photoshop type program I downloaded. It does lots of stuff but I am rather limited in my understanding of that kinda stuff which is common to us oldsters regarding technology

Now THERE’S a movie that’ll keep your eyes peeled!

  14. Why have I not commented on this post, I have read it 50 friggin times. I love photoshop.

  15. Sweet! My amber colored glasses and watch would look great on a Scarface poster.

[...] Taking some time off in June so looking for guest cartoons to fill the void.  Obviously I don’t have recurring characters but last years call to highlight your characters in new ways was well received.  So here is the challenge.  Replace the actor(s) in your favorite movie/television show with one or more of your characters.  Submissions can take the form of fake posters, single panel or strip.  Keep submissions within 600 pixels wide.  Here is just one example from the Family Guy (obviously doesn’t need to be that in depth).   If you need inspiration, check out my recent post on recreating 35 famous movie posters.
