  1. I think global warming is a real issue but for people to be faking the results is not right. We need to make the right decisions this way we will make the right decision for the future generations.

We owe it to them. Thanks for posting this

    • Agreed Corve. I don’t want cooked science on either side. Either your data holds up or it doesn’t. If it doesn’t I will have more respect for you if you say, here is my assumption. The data holds true to this extent. Make your own call based on it.

  2. jammer5

I knew it: a friggin clown. I hates friggin clowns. May their noses explode.

  3. LOL that is one funny clown.

Corve Da Costa – yes, there’s nothing funny about global warming, we need to stop clowing around… …. ….. get it… clowning..around.. hehe…

  4. I’m Mister Green Christmas
    I’m Mister Sun
    I’m Mister Heat Blister
    I’m Mister Hundred and One
    They call me Heat Miser,
    What ever I touch
Starts to melt in my clutch
    I’m too much!

As for global warming, I do believe it’s happening, but I believe it’s cyclical climate change. Many scientists have pointed out that this cycle we are going through happened back during the middle ages and ice sheets melted and weather shifted. All of which, was caused by the solar effects of the sun. Do I think we are adding to the cyclical event? well yes, but not to the extent those want us to believe. But hey, a “green” economy hurts us how ?!? Not much really.

    • Finally…someone who knows their Rankin/Bass Christmas specials.

The problem I have is that for people to really do something they have to see something tangible. Focusing on global warming, everyday people don’t see it affecting their lives. Focus on the pollution we are causing to the air and the water ways and show the impact it is having on lives and I think you can get more buy in to clean up the environment.

I agree that temperature rising is part of the cycle. I also believe we can make positives changes to not contribute to it. However, I don’t believe in many of the drastic proposals that assume we will reverse it.

Go on, you know you were only waiting for some old git to ask, so I did!

    • It is my laser tracking device code to track all my visitors.

      haha

It was a code technorati said I needed to put in a blog post to verify that I truly owned the blog. Long ago I claimed ownership of bearmancartoons.wordpress.com but I never did do beartoons.com when I made the switch.

  6. to tell you the truth, I’ve never seen “A year without a Santa Claus” and I’m not even overseas…(I don’t think?)

But I agree with your comments, Bearman. (For once! ;P)

ps. I’ll watch it this weekend so I can make a more comment-worthy comment.

  7. I don’t get it :C

  8. That dude always freaked me out! All the stop motion stuff did when I was a kid. I had nightmares about him! Aaaaahhhh

  9. I believe I’ve rocked that guys haircut. And possibly worn a similar shirt. Never at the same time, though. :)

  10. Science stopped being “Real” Science a long time ago.

Everyone tweaks their data to support their platform or cause.

    I’m not sure they’re any “Real” Scientists left…. : (

Scinece is the quest for truth…, Or at least it used to be…

  11. I’m so gonna be Mr. Snow Miser for Mardi Gras. They won’t know what to make of me.

  12. I don’t know “year without” but now I’ve got green north poles on my mind and all sorts of ramifications to imagine.

  13. hahahahahaha! That’s great stuff! who doesn’t love the music to that one?

  14. True story when I was 5 Heat Miser scared the crap out of me, now my 5 year old does not like him either :-)

  15. I always thought global warming was caused by The Hamburglar from McDonalds?
