Eating Crow and Other Updates

Eating Crow

So you may be wondering why I am “eating crow” this week.  My wife and I tend to not argue about the big stuff, but rather the stupid stuff.  One ongoing argument was how to end this childhood chant.

Diarrhea Song

We always said Diarrhea, Diarrhea.  Some people think it’s funny but it’s really BROWN and runny.  My wife said it was “WET and runny”   So I put it out to Google Plus and those losers (I say it with love) sided with her 11-8.  I didn’t say who thought which but I would eat crow if I was wrong so here is me paying up my bet.

  1. This must really suck for you. 🙂

  2. SHE says:

    what a faux pas!

  3. Bo Lumpkin says:

I have never heard it and up to this point that was just fantastic.

Mildred has finally admitted to being a Bearmaniac…it was hard for her to squeeze it on her sign but it will be there sometimes this week.

I know this is not part of the challenge but I have been continuing to use your ad in some of the local editions of my Café Comics page with ads. Just thought you might want to know.

  4. frigginloon says:

Hmm, hate to be picky but shouldn’t you be eating sh*t?

  5. Deb says:

At least you admit when you were wrong…How right is that! 🙂
    Love the drawing too. 🙂

  6. I don’t think I’d ever heard that one before…
hahaha… if your wife doesn’t let you clean-up / cook that crow a bit you might find yourself personally testing it out, though…
    🙂

  7. Bill Murphy says:

Sorry Bearman, but Wet sounds funnier than Brown. Wet just seems to flow better. Get it? “FLOW?” See what I did there! 😀

  8. Comedy Plus says:

Well if that’s all you ever argue about then you’re doing very well. At least you can laugh about your arguments. You look very silly eating crow though. Just saying. Does crow taste like chicken?

    Have a terrific day. 🙂

  9. Well I never heard that one when I was younger. Sorry ya lost this one. lol

  10. You’re a very kind and just man to let it be settled by popular vote and *not* pull out the “Perhaps it’s different in different cultures and geographical regions.”

And sorry, no help here — I never heard that rhyme as a child.

  11. I am familiar with this rhyme and although yours does make sense, if my memory serves me right, your wife is correct. Now, go eat some pie!

  12. Binky says:

_ho_late _ake?? That’s an outrage! Who could ever be evil enough to steal the letter C??

  13. Nate Fakes says:

Crow can be mighty tasty. Especially de-feathered.

  14. Jason Salas says:

I wonder if diarrhea can be another color other than brown. I don’t want to think about it.

  15. Crow: The other white meat

  16. Tony McGurk says:

Brown is more descriptive but Wet just sounds right. I’ll have to take your wife’s side Bearman, sorry…

  17. Christina says:

Thanks for the Wordsworth plug 🙂 Fingers crossed that we make our goal.

  18. Andro says:

I haven’t heard that chant before but
I think both endings work well, of course
the wet and runny does hold merit…

I only said 🙁 lol Enjoy the rest of your Crow 🙂

Hey but another brilliant cartoon Bearman 🙂

    Andro

  19. cx says:

fact: crow can eat any/every thing, not the other way round!

  20. Mark Stokes says:

    Does crow taste like chicken?
