Faraday the Blob stars one of those lawn elfs that everyone has around their garden and a blob of green snot. Well OK neither is really the case, but the toon is too hard to explain (but funny as hell). So just check it out.
Alan Ryan the mastermind behind Faraday the Blob is on paternity leave. He just produced a bouncy blob of a boy named Dara. Being of Irish descent Alan let me know that Dara is an old Irish name that mean Oak Tree. What he may not know is that in Hebrew it means “pearl of wisdom” and in Persian it means “Wealthy” So in honor of this future strong, rich and smart lad, I created a guest cartoon for Alan.
Thanks again for the excellent guest comic B-man! I’m gonna add snot to the list of things Faraday’s been described as O_o
You mean that isn’t the first thing that comes to mind?
I actually thought Faraday was a talking Pea
Well another one to add to the list.
I checked it out and I can’t wait to get back to a computer so I can look at more. You did good again Bearman.
It’s much better BIG!! Thanks Bo.
WHOA! This is nuts! I just stumbled across Faraday the Blob two days ago and love it! Weird coincidence. Nice job, Mr. B
I am in your head.
I thought he was a bowling ball. Hmmmm… Nice job Bearman. So when you do a guest comic for someone else does that mean you can never post it up on your own site, or you just have to wait a while or what.
I tend to just provide a link. Otherwise people tend not to visit the other person’s site. When I was posting more than 2x a week, I would then post them like a week later but now it is hit or miss.
A blob is really only one letter away from a Bob, you know
Cool guest strip, sir! 🙂
What does a 50’s haircut have to do with anything?
So you’re saying that I just read it wrong & that Faraday is really Bob. I guess Faraday is his surname. Bob Faraday, yep that works for Pea Guy
The premise of that cartoon sounds interesting. I’ll have to remember to check back in. I’m hoping that he’ll eat some of those lawn mushrooms one day!
I think he already has.
Hahah! love the guest comic! And his remark about the baby being right on. lol
Thanks for sending us over there, Bearman. I’m enjoying reading through the archives. The artwork reminds me of one of the underground 60’s comics, whose name I can’t remember, “the *something* brothers”? Anyone else recognise the similarities (and maybe can remember the name for me?) ;`)
Grimm Brothers
Coen Brothers
Blues Brothers?
Am I close?
Bearman strikes again! Nice gust stint, man. You’re really capturing everyone’s characters these days.
It’s a hit with me & his artwork is brilliant. I scrolled back through his cartoons today at lunchtime & both myself & our other storeman were highly amused with lots of LOL’s coming from the warehouse. I’m sure the sales staff were very curious as to what was so darn funny out the back in storeman world. He’s definitely going into my RSS reader for sure.
As he should. Glad everyone enjoys it as much as I do.
