Byron Wilkins of 1977theComic is always supportive of my calls for guest cartoons here so I jumped at the chance to do one for his band (really it is a band) of 70’s lovers, drinkers, and stoners.

great toon, bear!!
Thanks Jill or is it Jillsy
Good one Bearman. I am really kind of confused since I been through all of those decades. When are the 50’s and 60’s styles comin’ back around?
Hold onto those fat ties of yours. Some day they will come back
Whaddaya mean hold on to them. I still wear ’em.
Great guest comic, Bearman!

Hey good one man. Hope you have a happy 4th.
Thanks JB…be safe with those fireworks
If only I could sync up the fashion cycle with my current ‘style’. Oh well. Guess I’ll just stick to plain black T-shirts. ๐
oooh…you are bohemian
Hahaha … something like that, I guess! ๐
Man…the eighties seems a lot scarier now than it actually was!
I’m still working on my guest toon for Byron, that slavedriver…
That’s what happens when you do such good guest cartoon work…it takes you longer.
I always try to support the local comics, lovers, drinkers and stonersโฆ so yea.
Hope you have a happy 4th!!
Figured they were right up your alley.
This is why one shoud never throw out old clothes; save them and they WILL come back into fashion in a little over one generation. Excellent take boss.
What if they don’t fit anymore and probably never will
Sell them as historic costumes with a good (invented) provenance!
Hmm, I am guessing the 1987 dude had some chin work ๐
No…it’s all covered by makeup.
The 80’s version was my favorite—I’d be pissed off too if my hair looked like that…
I had fun drawing the big metal hair
You know looking at that, I can see why adults ,when we were young, thought we were stupid. I look at kids today trying to “embrace” decades they were not a part of and thinking “who the hell do you think you are” You know, kids who when you say Star Wars, they think of Jar Jar and Anakin and Padme, instead of Luke, Han and Leia.
And when you say Jar Jar, I think Mayonaisse.
