I am the 1% T-shirt
It has been a while since I created a new shirt design for my shop. This one screamed to be done. The great thing is it works whether you are part of the Occupy Wall Street (or Elm Street) crowd AKA the 99% or if you are part of the 1% crowd. See how democratic I am. Appropriate for all political spectrums and income levels.
Shirt of the Month: Got Hole?
Shirt sales at my store are funny like Stumpleupon. With Stumble Upon, I can get no traffic for weeks and then all of the sudden I notice a blog I wrote weeks earlier suddenly is getting hits. Same with my store. I can go weeks without a sale and then suddenly something starts selling with no explanatin.
This month it has been my “Got Hole?” tshirt. For the uninitiated it is an outdoor game much like a cross between curling and horseshoes. In Cincinnati, we call it CORN HOLE (yes plenty of references can be made) and in other areas it is sometimes known as Baggo. The idea is that there are two sloped boxes each with a hole in the middle. Players take turns throwing bean bags towards the box across the way while trying to knock the other players bag off the box. One point for landing on the box and three for getting it in the hole.
While I am always happy for the sales, it is frustrating that the design that was probably one of the easiest I did is selling so well while the ones I spend several hours on lay dormant.
Three days left in the Charity Challenge. I’ll post results on Tuesday!
I’m Just a Healthcare Bill Tshirt
Don’t know about kids outside the USA, but in the US we were exposed on Saturday mornings to little blurbs between cartoons called School House Rock.
These little ditties taught me the different between an adjective and an adverb, what the preamble to the US Constitution is and one of my favorites, was Bill. It told the story of how a bill becomes a law on Capit0l Hill.
Unfortunately many bad bills get made into law and many good bills sit forever never becoming law.
Those of you who remember School House Rock…what was your favorite???
