I read the other day about the stupid behavior of beach goers in Argentina. Seems a baby Franciscanas Dolphin was stuck near the shore so instead of helping the animal back into the water, overzealous tourists decided to pull it onto the beach and take selfies with it. Of course it quickly dehydrated and died.
I was thinking about it when I got a Facebook notification from Dan Soto
Not quite what Dan requested but challenge accepted. Like Planet of the Apes, what happens when the animals turn on us and start reacting in human behavior. OK far fetched but Dolphin Selfies is something I want to see. 🙂

As I watch and read more about animals I realize that many are very intelligent. I didn’t know that until I was older. Dolphins are have developed a language, hunt together, and are very social. I suspect the tourist didn’t even think about the dolphin’s condition. We should respect other animals especially more advanced ones. Thanks for the post – I had not heard about this.
