  1. I added the 125×125 ad on my site. Should I have it link to this post for now or the homepage? How long does the drive last (sorry if that was above and I missed it)?

    Much luck! :-)

  2. Hmmm…
I’ll have to ponder on the best way to participate in your very good cause, Bearman…
    :)

  3. My favorite time of the year :)

  4. I just added you to the very top of my Blogroll on WordPress. Impressive work, my man.

  5. Okay, Mr. Bearman, I followed you on Twitter and Liked you on Facebook. Pay up!!

  6. How much money if we go outside into our neighborhood and scream, “BEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRR-MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!”?

    • That depends

      1. You have to video tape it.
      2. There has to be at least one person in the video looking at you like you are nuts.

  7. Ooooh, yeah! Is it that time of year already? I have so many devious ideas on how to make you go broke. I can’t wait to get started! :D

  8. MJ

Dig your pause for the cause event.

  9. Best of luck with this, Bearman!

  10. I’ll put the word out via my facebook. It is great to see for the second time today that someone else is posting about hunger and helping out food banks. I volunteer at my county food bank and I have for years now. I love it and it has helped me grow as a person and help out those local neighbors in need.

    • Thanks RT…now hopefully you have warped minded friends who will like this stuff too.

you know you still owe me a 125×125 banner ad as well.

      • I know I remember. I have been having trouble with my designer and have been looking for a new one. I wanted this to be kind of a test to give to the ones I am talking to. So I will see what happens. Sorry about that.

  11. Go ahead and make out the checks Bearman. I’m in a productive mood and they are both worthy causes. I already follow you on twitter and I will retweet everything that mentions you this month that I see. (I usually do anyway). This won’t cost you but I have other plans that will cost you.

  12. Very good initiative.

    Bless your heart.

  13. Looks like I’d failed to find you on Facebook, so I have now “liked” you.
It’s not a cartoon, I know, but I used “check out that bear, man” in a drabble and pointed my readers in your direction. Hope it helps. http://sheiladeethdrabbles.blogspot.com/2011/05/may-dribbles-1.html

    • I was lost and now I am found…or something like that.

Thanks for the blog article. Another $10. I am going to have to keep track.

  14. I just liked you on Facebook so cough up the cash. My Paypal account is ready & waiting

  15. What a great idea! I’ll see if I can incorperate “Bearman” into one of my comics if I can’t for some reason I’ll shoot for one of the other options.

  16. Looks like you are goin’ to be plastered all over the interwebs Bearman. You won’t miss any of them though because you visit nearly every site on the net every day.:). This is a good time for all those you support to really push your site.

  17. I shall come up with something for you!

  18. I just put your tiny little gravatar on my Bo Lumpkin page with a brief notice of what you are doing. Tomorrow you will be on Mildred’s wall and coming soon you will be on a fertilizer sack behind Kurt and Burt and later in the month on the side of a truck load of buzzards. That is all I could get done yesterday but I am “still thinkin”.

  19. Hi, I did a little post for you on my blog.
    Cheers!

  20. I just added you to my ‘Follow’ list on Blogger and will blog about your challenge soon. I found you courtesy of 25Bar. I’m always delighted to help a fellow Ohioan — especially if I like his cartoons!!!! :)

    • Thanks Kay…always love to hear from a fellow Ohian. Does a follow list on Blogger work for someone who has a wordpress blog??

  21. Hey there, I just Liked Beartoons on Facebook and will post a link from my blog. So I am excited for your charitable actions – great idea!

  22. Got a big ol’ fat skyscraper ad up on “Perk at Work”! Best of luck and, as a fellow human, I thank you. All of us will need help at one time or another in our lives and it’s good to see folks like you being generous. Kudos!

  23. Well reviews here on this nice post.

  24. Wow, this is also an awesome idea for a charity challenge.

  25. I’m adding you to the blogroll as I speak … I’m speaking very slow, so I can do things almost simultaneously … but really one after the other. hee hee!
