The Power of StumbleUpon and Twitter

George this one is for you. I wrote an article for WebcomicPlanet on using StumbleUpon and Twitter and being able to post to both using one tool – Su.pr. Check it out here.

    Great post I love it.

I always wonder how they did it but never got around to search it.

That is what I am here for. Searching for the useless information so you don’t have to.

For me? You shouldn’t have! Lemme go check it out. 🙂

I like that. I’m gonna try it out and see if there’s an increase. 😀

That’s pretty easy and painless. I recommend this to anyone who’s serious about upping their viewership.

        1. bearmancartoons Avatar

Let me know if you notice any results.

Man, this works really well. I’m getting mega-hits thru SU now. Hopefully, some of the new readers will start liking AC and begin commenting soon. Great advice, Bearman!

          2. bearmancartoons Avatar

Now if I could only figure out how to turn more readers into commenters.

          3. George Avatar

I find that people will comment more if you ask them a question in the blog. Everyone’s got an opinion, but nobody ever asks for it. That’s my method anyway.

    Real nice article there, Bearman!

I just got on twitter but am not using it, which I guess kinda defeats the purpose. Your post gave me some helpful information. I do want to up my readership as well.. So, thank you!

Now if I can only figure out how to convert readers into commenters. I could care less if I have 1000 visitors if I have no comments.

      1. George Avatar

Shucks, if spam was real I’d have 1,000 comments a day. 🙂

I read your article and it sounds good. Now I have to go home and figure out what it means and how to do it. I would love to double my readership. I really think there are 4 more people out there who would like my stuff.

    1. bearmancartoons Avatar

      I am aiming for 5-6

Yes, but you are hard working and ambitious. I am old, retired, disabled and kinda laid back anyway.

hey teach me about this stuff… apparently it can increase viewership?????

    1. bearmancartoons Avatar

Step 1. Sign up for twitter.
Step 2. Follow some people you are interested in or who you already comment (like me) and then they will follow you.
Step 3. When you post something on your blog, post a link to twitter as well letting people know. But don’t limit your posts to that. It’s just a start.

I don’t stumble everything I post just the better stuff so that is lesson two once you get used to using twitter.

Susi Spice is already on Twiiter…she’s messing with ya !

Oh and don’t forget to download Tweet Deck so you can manage Twitter and people you are following . http://www.tweetdeck.com/
It allows you to easily make tiny urls and best of all separate your followers into groups like favorites, news, funny, etc.

        1. bearmancartoons Avatar

Maybe..I’ll have to take a look at tweetdeck. That way I can ban viewing your posts without actually un following you..hahahahah

          1. frigginloon Avatar

            Blahahahaah nasty 🙂

          2. George Avatar

I haven’t tried any of the Tweetdecks and stuff. I just do mine via the web or with my cell phone if I’m in a crunch.
