So it is now November 4, 2020 and as expected neither President Trump nor Vice President Biden has locked in the Presidency for the next four years. So we wait, and argue, and wait and point fingers. Sigh.

Ahhh, the GOP is in the hot seat. Whether you think Republicans are responsible for the election of Donald Trump or the DNC and the Clinton campaign are (or the Russians, or Bernie Sanders), clearly the Republican Party is the only one that can and should make sure there is checks and balances with our new President.
The GOP hatches a plan. Yet it seems to continually backfire. (With apologies to Dr Suess and Horton Hatches an Egg). Last summer when Donald Trump was first running, the GOP figured he was a flash in the pan candidate who would fizzle out. But they figured they could use his celebrity to their advantage and made him pledge that he would support whomever became the Republican nominee and wouldn’t seek a third party run. Six months later, Trump is commanding the lead in the run to the nomination and Republicans are backtracking in droves.
One time candidate Marco Rubio stated “I still at this moment continue to intend to support the Republican nominee, but it’s getting harder every day.”
So will we end up with a brokered convention that could spell the end of the Republican Party as one entity? Will two sub parties emerge? So as the cartoon says, the GOP is holding to the pledge
“I meant what I said,
I said what I meant.
I’ll support Trump’s nomination
one hundred percent….
unless I destroy both of us in the process.”
Preparation Hillary T-Shirt. I thought this parody of the Preparation H box would make my readers who are fans of Hillary Clinton (any of you out there?) happy. Clinton’s biggest threat in the Democrat nomination for President is Bernie Sanders.
Bernie supporters are very mobile and vocal on social media tagging many of their posts with “Feel the Bern” So what better way to take care of the “Bern” than some Preparation H.
Get the shirt here
It is election season in the United States. Your choices (not including 3rd party candidates) are either President Obama or Mitt Romney. You can decide in the comments or decide with your wallet and show your support to the world because I have put these images on Bumper Stickers for a limited time only.
If you are for President Barack Obama and Joe Biden, you might want to show the world that Mitt Romney is a notorious flip-flopper (where is John Kerry to attempt to keep his crown)
Or maybe you are for Mitt Romney. In 2008 many people joined now President Obama in his quest for “HOPE”, a slogan of his campaign. Now I am hearing many who voted for him in 2008 have simply “LOST HOPE”
What say you? Of course politics can get heated so if you prefer to just say “nice bumper stickers” in the comments, I’ll understand. And if you choose to vote with your wallet, I won’t give up your vote.
Over the last year, I have found many webcomic comrades via twitter and others blog rolls. It is rare though that I find someone else who does editorial cartoons and blogs as well. Alex Raffi is a Nevada illustrator and editorial cartoonist. Check out his site for some great stuff.
The post that really caught my attention as of late was this video he posted of his daughter Elli describing the things she would do to fix the world if she were President.
Only 29 more years Elli and you’ll get my vote.
