  • Testing New Social Links

    Thought I would join the world of bloggers who have social media buttons on their posts.  But of course I had to make some of my own for my favorites.  Many of you already have seen my Tweet This button to allow readers add any article to Twitter (directions here).  Well my other two favs are Digg and StumbleUpon so I created those as well.

    Now in order to catch all the remaining ones, since I am hosting on wordpress.com there are some limitations.  A guy named Hillel Storer created GetSocial to easily handle this for any post.  Click here for an overview and click here for the latest download.

    Let me know what you think and if I screwed up any of the coding.

    BTW…I have gotten requests about using my Tweet This button in the past and I there may be some for these new ones.  I have no problem with anyone using them on their own site with one simple condition.  You must add my site to your blog roll.

  • No Swine Flu Here Tshirt

    Some of you may have noticed the image to the right that shows a link to WackSack.com.  Wacksack is a cafepress website that I created to sell tshirts etc.  I do all the design work (good or bad) but have been so focused on work and getting more involved with this blog that I haven’t created anything new for several months.  

    So I figured I would periodically highlight something already there.

    A Jewish friend gave me the idea for this one.  Kiss Me I’m Kosher

    Given the Swine Flu pandemic, I thought it would be a perfect shirt to highlight first.  It is safe to kiss a “kosher pig” right?

  • ManBabies – Fun with Photoshop

    Too much work has kept me from drawing in the last few days but since you all got such a kick out of the anagram maker post, I thought I would give you something new.

    Seems there is a site called ManBabies.com. The premise is you take a picture with your baby and you switch heads in Photoshop. One of my favorites

  • Fun with Anagrams

    Two Yorks and a Bean has a funny post that has pictures of trolls that resemble the personality of some of the commenters there.

    Well for the last day or so, I have been playing on a site called Anagram Genius. 

    So I thought I would tell you some of the funnier Anagrams of some frequent guests here.

    Two Yorks and a Bean – Now Keyboard Satan  (think you need to switch to a Belzebub avatar)

    Craig Babin – In a big Crab (and I can’t get out)

    Nate Fakes – Keen as Fat  (don’t think that is a compliment)

    Blunt Delivery – Virulently bed  (so either she is like a praying mantis when it comes to dating or her bed has attacked her thus creating long stretches where you don’t hear from her.

    Alan Truitt – An ultra Tit (not just any tit you are Alan)

    TannerLeah – An alert hen  (could be why he is always crowing…wait wrong animal)

    Myra Gimrack Hospital – Kymographic Alarmist  (hmmm fitting)

    Shark Tank – Thanks! Ark!  (might be good if he is religious)

    and my favorite

    Claire Collins – Clinical Loser (sorry Claire)

    If you weren’t included in the list, its not that I don’t love you, its that your parents didn’t name you anagramly funny enough to include.
