Ahhh, the GOP is in the hot seat. Whether you think Republicans are responsible for the election of Donald Trump or the DNC and the Clinton campaign are (or the Russians, or Bernie Sanders), clearly the Republican Party is the only one that can and should make sure there is checks and balances with our new President.

checks and balances – yeah I think Mr. Trump checks his account balance regularly. Good cartoon I do hope the Republicans stand up enough to keep the country from going of the rails.
They seem to be too intimidated by his popularity right now, And some of them who exist in gerrymandered districts that support Trump will always be afraid. I have more hope in the senate, where the whole state can put pressure on their senator, What I[m seeing so far is less than comfortable, but I still hope.
