Zero – Animated Short

Thanks to Laughing Squid, I came across one of the most incredible award winning short animations from the husband and wife team of Christopher and Christine Kezelos.  Originally based in Australia, they now run Zealous Creative out of Los Angeles.   The creators description of this yarn tale: “Born into a world of numbers, an oppressed zero discovers that through determination, courage, and love, nothing can be truly something.”

Take a look:

And a behind the scenes video as well.

As the saying goes…two heads are better than one! 🙂

      “Infinitely” better.

    I’m sharing this one!

great short – thanks for sharing it.
I was expecting that the zero would pair up another non-zero number to become a big group especially if you got about six zeros together.
Six zeros and some other number and you have a million or more.

Yep, all they needed was a group of zeros and one little one to be on their side.

Aw man, I wish I had a few more minutes to watch all of both of these right now… they look so cool… I’ll be back!

I know. I am on a crappy wifi so I had to start the first one pause it and then walk away for 30 minutes for the rest to download so I could watch it.

        Been there, done that. Repeatedly.

I can’t watch it on my phone and I am away from an internet connection until Monday. I will trust you that it is funny and laugh now and watch it Monday.

    1. Bearman Avatar

Trust me. As I said, it took me an hour to download on my bad connection this week but it was worth it.

    Very cool.
It’s amazing what some people can do with an idea … and talent … and stuff.

note: I thought the baby would be a “10” … but I was wrong; I usually am.

    1. Bearman Avatar

      I was thinking “10” too.

Yep me too I had my money on a 10.

LOL @ Their denominators were not allowed to multiply.

Apparently they reproduced by division instead, so the inifite result. The only problem I see is with the two heads. If the doctors separate them, both of them will look like zeroes…

    Nice show.

I am surprised none of the 2-9’s realized that either. They aren’t as smart as they thought.

That wasn’t infinity, it was just a double zero on a two-headed freak! Really good, though.

    1. Bearman Avatar

Takes too long to download on my PC–I trust it’s funny though.
