I like the combo poster better than the individual ones (IMHO).
Does this t-shirt thing make any money? I have seen many online and some are funny but I have never brought a t-shirt online. Many other things but not a t-shirt.
I like the combo one too. It was what I initially had in mind when I started this but had to get each one done anyway so thought I would post.
As far as the t-shirt stuff it depends on how you do it. I know many webcartoonists will purchase screened shirts in bulk and either sell them online or at conventions. I don’t do conventions where the most sales would be so I use a Print on Demand company.
Actually had my t-shirt site long before I started beartoons. I used to make a decent amount every year using cafepress as they had a thriving affiliate community (which meant that someone else could advertise your items on their site and then get 20% of your commission if it was sold) until cafepress changed their terms. Now I make enough to pay the monthly fee and get some shirts free for myself.
There are other POD services like Zazzle that don’t cost anything at all but there are other drawbacks with each of them.
