Ummm… it’s not exactly clear to this Aussie
April 15 in the United States is the last day to file your taxes. Many wait until the last day.
I heard this phrase from someone who said they believe in every social program that you can come up with (a democrat leaning philosophy). She just hates actually having to pay for them (a republican leaning philosophy).
Another common thing to hear:
“Man, I hate doing taxes. Stupid government always taking my money.”
“How much do you owe?”
“Oh, nothing. I got a return.”
Bastards.
Is that a Tax for being happy, or a day to be happy for paying tax. Is that a donkey & an elephant on the bag? It kinda implies that the government will happily tax your ass off & they will certainly never forget to do it.

we dont do our taxes till after june… you pretty much get 2 years to get them done.
you have until 31 October to have them done if you are doing them yourself or you get an accountant/tax agent to do it for you if you do it after that date.
Most ppl get them done by August.

I do mine as soon as I get my group certificate, I want my refund & I don’t want the
leechesour wonderfully competent Taxation Department to keep my money 1 second longer than they have to.I usually have to wait forever b/c my company waits till the final day to send them out.
