Obama is Moving “FORWARD”

Bearman Cartoon Obama Forward Slogan

The Cartoonist Studio Editorial Cartoon Contest has begun.  Click the link or here to go to the voting.  They are in alphabetical order and my entry should be the third one. So if you can, please vote. It looks like I have some great competition.  As long as I stay in the contest, there will be two editorial cartoons a week to vote on – Mondays and Thursdays.

Regarding today’s editorial cartoon, it seems President Barack Obama has decided to change (haha) his campaign slogan from “CHANGE” to “FORWARD”.  Like many Americans some of his policies I agree with and some I don’t.  So the question is which way are we going forward and even if it is the right direction are we still constrained by our present issues that haven’t been dealt with?  Sometimes we look too far ahead without realizing what is holding us back.

    1. You have to log in to vote or use FB and I don’t use FB. Maybe there’s some other way I can support you, Bearman.

Way cool and I tried to vote, but you have to sign in. I don’t do facebook or the other one either. Sorry.

    Have a terrific day. 🙂

    • Bearman says:

That’s OK Sandee. That keeps me from voting at times too. Your support means alot.

      • starla says:

I would like to vote. I do not have a facebook account shocking I know. I tried to sign in for the other thing but that didn’t work. Let me know if there is another way to vote.

        • Bearman says:

I think the only other thing to do is actually register on their site but that tends to be a pain so I understand if people don’t want to do that.

  5. jynksie says:

I voted for the other guy! [smirk]

  6. I’ll vote for you Bearman! But not for Obama! haha that guy needs to forward his a$$ out of office.

  7. lisleman says:

I support your voicing of opinion but I support Obama. I think we agree he is not perfect but no one is and I think he is the better choice.
I’ll take a look at the cartoon over at that site (at least they see another view if they are tracking that). But if I need to join yet another site or use FB – sorry.

    • Bearman says:

Not a ploy to convince anyone NOT to vote for Obama but rather pointing out the absurdity of political messages.

Completely understand not wanting to sign up for another site but appreciate all the comments here.

  8. Do you think if the other guy got on that horse with the huge weight chain to it that he could make it go any faster? I voted for ya B. M.
Now I have to clean out the app…. blech.

  9. Tony McGurk says:

Uncle Sam don’t look too happy. Maybe Obama should use a whip to get him movin’ faster

  10. Deb says:

I don’t use FB so opened an account with the cartoon place so I could vote for you….your political comics are the best!

  11. Binky says:

I just voted for the wrong cartoon!
I clicked on your link, logged in, and clicked on the vote button. But it wasn’t for your cartoon!

Can’t you provide a link directly to YOUR cartoon?

  12. Is this only one vote per round or can I go back more than once?
    🙂

  13. Uncles are always the big toys for the ‘lil ones.

  14. Scholar Mel says:

    Nice pop up ad 😉

I tried a pop up facebook like button and it ticked off at least two people. They wrote a lengthy comment on why I was a loser… nearly broke my heart 🙁

Seriously though, pop ups don’t bother me. 🙂

Does your comic mean that the Dollar will even out with the Euro?

  15. George says:

I think I’ll change my name to George Forward and see if I can get some loose Change.

Great comic, BM! You’re sure to slay ’em in the contest. Your Obama looks very nice.

  16. Scott says:

Your use of Uncle Sam in that manner is ingenious!

  17. That ball should have another one chained to it that says “Europe”!

  18. Cat Forsley says:

    GOOD WORK BEARMAN XO
I AM GONNA MAKE AN ACCOUNT ON CARTOONIST – THAT SITE AND VOTE …..:)

  19. James says:

I want Uncle Sam to wear better pants.

  20. bschooled says:

    Done!

If I could, I would vote you for President, Bear.

    (Granted, that’s probably only because I’m a politically-ignorant Canadian. )

  21. Dr. Cynicism says:

I missed Monday, but I’ll be sure to throw my vote in on Thursday for you! Best of luck bro!

  22. Red says:

I occurs to me by reading the comments how seriously people take political cartoons. All I can say is grow a sense of humor, it is a bipartisan trait everyone should have.

I loved the comic, but I am too late to vote. 🙁 I will vote more than once on the next one. I really need to talk to the hospital about my need for my laptop.
    Red.

  23. Mark Stokes says:

    You got my vote, Bearman!

  24. Bo Lumpkin says:

That is absolutely one of the best Political Cartoons I have seen in a long time. Maybe we should look back to see what got us here and then maybe go in a different direction. Both parties ought to look realize that insanity is trying to do the same thing in the same way and get different results. I am still going to push the “Vote No For President” idea.

  25. nursemyra says:

    good luck bearman xx

  26. Tyler says:

No fair! I’m not even allowed to ride the dog!

  27. jb says:

This is the best Obama cartoon I have seen yet.

  28. DrFaust says:
