John Cena Sign Fruity Pebbles

Let’s see if WWE Wrestling fans start trying to redraw my John Cena caricature on signs all over WWE live events as they have my Sheamus sign.  All I ask is that you make sure my URL is front and center.

For you non wrestling fans, John Cena is in a feud as of late with former WWE wrestler and now movie star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.  The Rock made fun of the fact that each year Cena has a different brightly colored shirt that he hocks to his fans.  Thus started an entire Fruity Pebbles chant. Lo and behold, Post cereal took full advantage of the publicity and quickly signed the popular Cena to an endorsement deal, even putting his face on a box of Fruity Pebbles.

Oh and don’t forget to check out my guest cartoon I did at Short Attention Span comic.

I’m not sure I would want to be associated with Fruity Pebbles. Now Cap’n Crunch – THAT’S an association!

  7. Tony McGurk says:

Fruity Pebbles sound all sweet & yummy & making me want some. It’s 11pm & the only cereal we have is Wheat Bix & Special K. Maybe Special K with lots of sugar piled on will have to do.

  8. Enjoying a bowl of cereal in the ring is definitely a mistake.
That’s about the time you take a folding chair to the back-o-the head.
    (Awesome resemblance, Bearman!)
    🙂

  9. Mark Stokes says:

Great caricature, you really caught the guy! Love the color! Post should just use this art as is and give you a fat paycheck.

  10. DadaHyena says:

The joke’s on you, Cena; now you have to deal with that obsessive creep Barney Rubble and his mad desire to obtain your cereal!

  11. Chris K says:

Hey, if Fred Flintstone stone likes them, so can John Cena! 🙂

  12. Well not a fan of wrestling, but I love fruity pebbles.

  13. He should’ve worn brown. Cocoa Pebbles is such a superior cereal.

  14. Comedy Plus says:

I’m not into sports, but liked how folks jumped on the band wagon here. Way to go.

    Have a terrific day. 🙂

  15. If I was a wrestler, I could have had enough publicity for my campaign. I’m too short and I no longer take steroids.

  16. MJ says:

    Ha,ha,ha! Outrageous

  17. Deb says:

Just watched it last night…Drawing looks just like him too. Great job!

  18. Bo Lumpkin says:

Here is a big muscular guy who makes his livin’ wrestlin’ other big muscular guys and he has on a tight T-Shirt advertising “Fruity” Pebbles. Is there some kind of hidden message here?

  19. bschooled says:

I hate it when I don’t recognize the person in your cartoon. You need to start drawing more highbrow celebs. Like Tori Spelling, or The Chick Who Didn’t Get The Final Rose On The Bachelor, or Tori Spelling…

  20. Jenn says:

LOL that story of how you got this idea is brilliant, who knew wrestling and cereals had so much in common?
