  1. Tony McGurk says:

You had some great cartoons for the year I remember all the ones posted in the list. Looking forward to another year of Beartoons fun. Gosh I was 4th highest commenter??? I wouldn’t have thunk it.

  2. nursemyra says:

I like the Charlie Sheen one

    • Bearman says:

Me too…one of my better celebrity caricatures. AND E! did contact me about possibly using it in their remake of the Charlie Sheen True Hollywood Story. Didn’t make the cut.

  3. Nate Fakes says:

My caricature WIN didn’t make the list? Whew! (Kidding…)

Keep up the great stuff in 2012, sir.

  4. Comedy Plus says:

I remember most of these posts. Now that I have you in my Google Reader I’ll hopefully rank in next years mix. Hope so anyway.

    Have a terrific day. 🙂

  5. I have to say the Bert and Ernie one is my favorite!

    • Bearman says:

I was esp proud of the coloring job I did on that one..thanks

      • That was one of my favorites, too. But my all time favorite is still the asparagus on the toilet. I’m a sucker for potty humor. I’ve been hanging around kids for way too long!

Always a fun place to visit, Bearman. Looking forward more great stuff from you this year!

  6. I vote for Bert & Ernie too. But the photoshop/ pumpkin carving tutorial was truly scary. I’ll do Tix next Halloween. Thanks for all your support over the last year.

  7. lisleman says:

I remember a few of them. I was thinking about your post the last time I recycled a pizza box. Looking forward to another good year and yes a good comment is the best part of blogging.

    • Bearman says:

A bad comment isn’t so bad either…at least I know when people are out there and I don’t look like a dumbass talking to myself.

  8. George says:

For some reason, you have transcended from being just your common, average, run-of-the-mill blogger to becoming a celebrity-personality yourself.

Your posts are interesting and exciting, but you, as a mysterious person are even more so and that adds so much to mystique that your readers are compelled to follow you wherever you go. You don’t find a mix like that hardly anywhere. I feel like royalty just being on the peripheral edge of your stardom. 🙂

2012 is gonna be even bigger for you, I believe.

    • Bearman says:

Really? Because I was thinking of just packing it all in in 2012. Besides…wasn’t there already a King George? How did he do?

  9. Deb says:

You’ve had a great year, Bearman!

  10. Jenn says:

2011 looks like a kick ass year for you! All the best in the new year and looking forward to seeing more from Beartoons =)

  11. Binky says:

The Bert & Ernie one was probably my favorite, but I do hold a special affinity for the Pizza box one for some unknown reason.

I’m number two? I’ll try not to take that personally.

  12. MJ says:

Keep the funnies rolling off the boards. Funny stuff!

  13. Loved all of those, Bearman…
I particularly enjoyed the Hand Dryer, though. And the George Ford caricature.
Oh *beep*! I think I’ve fallen down a spot or two…
    I think.
My memory ain’t what it used to be, and it was never anything to write home about.
    🙂

  14. Mark Stokes says:

It’s fun to see your year broken down like that, Bearman. Loyal readers who take time to engage with our work are real treasures. And considering the caliber of your top commentors, I’m happy to be among the ranks of Bearmania fans.

  15. Friggin Loon says:

Disappointed King Jong Loon, didn’t make the top ten.

  16. James says:

Those are powerful lists you got there.

  17. Bo Lumpkin says:

Can’t believe I’ve been such a slacker lately and still made the list of commenters. I hope to get back in the game soon.
Keep up the good work Your Awesomeness.

  18. MC/Curtis says:

Thanks for keeping me up to speed on all the current events that the humans are dealing with on this planet of theirs! If I ever end up trapped in a conversation I’ll have a default I can use.

“Did you hear that Sesame Street was occupied because Ernie and Bert are gay?”

  19. Scholar Mel says:

You made an impression with me. The other day, seriously last week, I was at the grocery store and had to use a hand dryer.

It made me think of your web comic about how a hand dryer should be labeled.

I had to partially use my jeans… just like Bearman said.

I don’t feel too confident that my hands are going to be that clean when I leave the restroom anyhow when the bathroom reeks of urine.

    • Scholar Mel says:

How did you figure out your top commented posts? Plugin, manually, etc.

      • Bearman says:

There is a top commenter widget for wordpress that you can set to automatically restart every day, week, month or view select dates.

        Keep your pants dry….

        • Scholar Mel says:

I use that plugin. It keeps track of top commenters, not top commenters for posts.

Maybe I am using a different plugin. Mine was created by Lorna Timbah

          • Bearman says:

Sorry thought that was what you meant. For top posts I just went to my posts and on the list it shows how many comments per. I just made a list of the top ones and then ordered them.

  20. DadaHyena says:

So Nate and George left more comments than me?

    Tuh! Teacher’s pets!
