St Paddy’s Day 2011

Saint Patricks Day T-shirt

Ok so I posted the same thing last year but I have 3 more regular commenters who may not have gone back so far in the archives.  Click here for all the products with this design.

Don’t forget St. Patricks day is once again March 17 so what are your plans??

Oh and if you want something new, here it is.  If you ever find yourself in the back alleys of St Louis Missouri make sure to stop into SpilledInkGuy (aka Robert J.) and his lovely wife Anna’s store Paint the Moon.  There you can see some of his artwork and also paint your own pottery.  I’ll be sure to make a stop next time I am in the city.  Then again, it has been fifteen years since the last time I was there.

  1. Dan says:

What’s really scary is that I was just thinking about your St. Paddy’s day shirts. It’s a tradition!

  2. Bo Lumpkin says:

I kinda skip St. Paddy’s day. I’m not Irish, I’m not Catholic, and I don’t drink. That kinda makes the day just another day to me. 🙂

  3. Dang, Bearman – thank you very much for the promo! That’s very kind of you, sir – you really didn’t have to do that! I’m a little embarrassed – is my face turning red (or… a festive shade of green)?! 🙂

  4. Sadly this year’s economic climate in Eire is going to be really hard…

  5. lisleman says:

I didn’t know you offered this design for St. Paddy’s Day. It reminded me that I should put up a St. Paddy’s Day post. I married Irish.
Oh do you have that other March event – March Madness?

  6. George says:

    Archives? What are those? 🙂

Your art looks great on t-shirts, BM.

  7. MJ says:

WOOT! I think I might actually not have to perform on stage this year. WOO HOO! Finally a day off. I’ll probably get a last minute call though.j

  8. Nate Fakes says:

I planned ahead this year. Took of the day AFTER, and have an Irish hat ready to wear and Aspirin in the cupboard

  9. Tony McGurk says:

I’m Irish descent. My G.G.Grandparents were convicts. He was convicted of having stolen meat in his possession & she was convicted of arson. I guess we should celebrate by having burnt stolen meat on St.P’s day

  10. nursemyra says:

You’re planning ahead bearman. It’s over 2 weeks away and we still haven’t celebrated International Women’s Day yet

  11. Binky says:

That’s a really neat design, Bearman. Just the perfect cartoonish style for something like that.

I didn’t know Robert had a shop! Not surprising, though, considering the quality of his work. I guess his wife is the same.

    • Bearman says:

Yes she was an art teacher prior to opening the shop. My wife on the other hand isn’t so creative….but she is smart so that is ok

  12. Friggin Loon says:

Quick Bearman, make an Irish Cricket t-shirt, they just beat England in cricket. The world is celebrating and laughing!!!!

  13. Jande says:

I really liked the steins, so I bought a couple. Can’t wait to use them for my usual half bottle of beer on Pizza Fridays. Thanks, Bearman!

  14. Jande says:

I thought of half a dozen funny but totally false answers, like “the cat” or “the budgie” (we can’t have pets ’cause of allergies). But, it’s Mal (@EO_Malveka). Sometimes we even go for a full bottle each. But that is a very rare occasion.

  15. DadaHyena says:

I-Rish for some corned beef and cabbage.

…well, maybe just a litte. Ah screw it, I-Rish for pizza.

  16. Looking forward to it but first Mardi Gras!

  17. this is much funnier when i picture a little kid saying it with a lisp and a koolaid ring around his mouth

  18. Jason says:

How much beer does it take to get a leprechaun to get soused like that? One thimble? Two?

  19. bschooled says:

Holy sh*t. I totally forgot about St. Paddy’s Day. Thanks for reminding me, Bear. Irish I didn’t have such a bad memory…

    (LOSTL!)

  20. haha, tis a fine shirt you wee bearman
