Odori Park – Guest Cartoon

Odori Park Webcomic

Head over to BEARMANiac and fellow webcomic guy Chris Watkin’s site Odori Park. Today he posted a guest cartoon that I did to celebrate his one year anniversary.

Chris describes Odori Park as a tale of east marries west.ย  It centers on a married couple, Colin (American) and Arisa (Japanese) and their young son, Sprout.ย  I love this comic because not only is Chris an excellent artist he is constantly able to make Odori Park both sweet and funny at the same time.

I of course had to make it a little more edgier but as he said, he had already gone there in a different toon.ย  And yes the genesis of this cartoon is based on real life, however you have to reverse the male/female roles to better reflect what happens in my household.

Even though it brings back bad memories, I have to say the cartoon made me LOL. And seeing as I am not a big fan of computer-related acronyms, I rarely do that.

    Good stuff, Bearman!

The Guest strip was hilarious. Doing his part for the environment and keeping those Green House gases in the car I see. ๐Ÿ™‚

The reversal is what happens in our car too.
Another fart trick in the car too is to do a ‘silent but deadly’ fart so no-one hears it coming , especially if all the windows are up, then you say with a worried voice “Can anyone smell something burning?”. The 1st reaction of everyone in the car is to take a good strong sniff…..
