So just this week I announce that I am looking for webcomics creators to draw what their characters will look like at age 100 and already I have entries from George and Byron (be careful when going to their sites as these guys tend to like to draw protruding nipples). Remember those interested get to me by August 15.
I also put out an ongoing call to anyone who wanted to submit an editorial/pop culture cartoon and I got my first submission from Agent-X Comics. This site is full of single panel gag cartoons that tend to poke fun at social media sites (facebook, twitter, etc) and their users. He is probably most known for this hilarious toon:
So without further ado along the lines of what he is known for with an editorial bent, I give you the first guest editorial cartoon.

Nice work Agent X comic dude. A couple of twits…whoop I mean Tweets!

Still waiting for you to put your site link in your name Danica……
A blogger’s worst nightmare for sure!!
I thought it was a power outage.
that’s more than a nightmare…. that’s a panic attack! 🙂
yeah imagine waking up and no hits at all..it’d be like death valley with tumbleweeds and dust!
Just don’t stand on the corner saying “I want hits!!!”
both are very excellent — thanks for the laugh
thanks for checking in…
I NEED SOME HELP FROM YOU FINE CARTOONIST. I DO EVERY DRAWING WITH PAINT IN MICROSOFT BUT IT IS ROUGH IN SOME ASPECTS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT OTHER SOFTWARE IS GOOD FOR DESIGNING AND DRAWING CARTOONS VIA A MOUSE AND COMPUTER. HERE IS A SAMPLE OF THE DIFFEERENT STUFF I DO IN THE PAINT VERSION.[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiwiNXLVXzQ&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b&border=1]
What WERE you doing? ……. 140
35 DIFFERENT FRAMES REPEATED OVER AND AND OVER AGAIN!
I use photoshop elements and a wacom tablet. (you can get both for under $200) I like the feel of a pen versus drawing with the mouse.
I do all my comics by hand, then scan them in and colour in Photoshop.
Once I get rich & famous I intend to get a Wacom Cintiq, so I can still draw by hand, but cut out about 73 extra steps that it takes to get the drawing into the computer ready for colouring.
Really lookinf forward to being able to sketch directly into the computer and edit it immediately.
I draw my comics by hand and then scan them in to the computer. Colouring is done in Photoshop.
I really want to get a Wacom Cintiq in the future, to make the process of getting the drawing into the computer much easier.
I’m really keen to be able to sketch directly into the computer.
Cool thanks for the info bearman!
Dude, I called you last night at 3am. Where were you?
I answered. But after listening to you breathing heavy for 5 minutes without saying anything I finally hung up.
Uh, that was me.
You should have called me, George. I was awake. Still am.
How both of us gon’ be breathin’ heavy simultaneously? I’ll get confused. 🙂
be like 2 asthmatics on the phone
“Dude! Get up. Let’s paaarrrtyyyy!”
Great set of comics! I don’t know which I found to be funniest. 🙂
Can’t you just say they are both awesome so I can add your comment to my portfolio? 😛
Hi Agent-X! Great name and great cartoons too.
He is obviously overtaken by emotion to respond.
He must be busy drawing more funny pictures.
That’s ok Bear, you know I come to talk to you anyway. 😉
Thanks! I appreciate the comments.
Just to let you know, I am busy doing some more comics, but that is not the reason for my slowness to reply.
The problem is that I am between ISP’s at present and am reduced to using dialup.
It is so painfully slow that I often slip into a coma before I………………..*
Looks like you were a hit…what is dialup? You sound like you live near George. ha ha j/k
