Bearman Cartoon: Jon and Kate Divorce

I have said before how much we love to build up the lowly, the underprivileged, or those who’s story touches our heart. But the minute they reach the point where they have something we don’t, it’s time to jump on the hate bandwagon.

Now in the case of Jon and Kate Gosselin, I think some of the recent stuff was brought on by themselves. In their attempt to show normalcy on the show, it only fueled the paparazzi rigor to get the real story. Had they announced their separation several months ago, I am not sure they would have had all the media hounds that they have as of late.

So I bring you in honor of their impending divorce proceedings the new editorial cartoon showing TLC’s new show while Jon and Kate plus Eight (the eight being the kids) is on a hiatus.

Hahaha! That was fabulous! Love your caricatures of them. Eight lawyers. Hee-hee….that was nice, BM.

  2. Be careful with the “BM”…some people might get the wrong idea.

  3. BM? That’s cute. Almost as good as “Big Slurpee!”

Nice work Bearman. The eyes on that woman are frightening. Well done.

    Funny stuff (as per usual)

    • hmmm…I think my “eyes” suck but you are the second person to mention them. The other was on the guest cartoon I did for Addanac City.

      Thanks!!

  4. Shawn says:

I barely knew of this show until all the controversy started. But you’re right…I’ve never heard more people have strong opinions about people they don’t really know.

  5. I love the expressions on the lawyer’s faces. They should all look happy though, since they will get a huge piece of the reality show pie.

  6. OOUCH, that is going to be one hefty lawyer fee.

  7. nursemyra says:

    funny ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. g says:

Used to like watching this show, but most of the garbage going on between them was going on much longer than the official “several months”. If you watch some of the episodes from a year ago, the tension was getting really nasty.

Having said that, I think the cartoon is simply ducky…although perhaps you could of added in 8 more lawyers for the kids as well.

  9. Nate Fakes says:

A show about raising a family really rings true when they get divorced with gobs of kids like they have! Not THAT’S reality tv – except usually this kind of thing happens in trailer parks.

  10. tannerleah says:

I just want to go on the record by saying I have always disliked that shrew, Kate. Mostly because of her hairdo…not the shallow reasons that others have mentioned.

  11. yorksnbeans says:

No wonder he left her….look at her boobies!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Still laughing at this one! I bet things would go all “Real World” – with viewers speculating about who was gonna’ hook up, not come in to work, etc.

  13. Funny! So who will get the house?

  14. John K says:

I have a sick feeling they will actually broadcast the divorce hearings.

An I alone in the feeling that Jon & Kate only did all this crap because their rival Octomom was getting all the Multiple Kid Press?

    • Yes John…you are alone..ha ha

I don’t think anyone would be jealous of the negative attention the octomom was getting. Well unless you are Spencer Pratt or Perez Hilton

  15. Michelle says:

If you asked me, they got married too young. Even though, I think the kids are adorable and I loved the show, but Jon should have put his foot down a long time ago. Their marriage can be saved, but Jon can’t get over the fact of how Kate treated him in the past.

  16. You got the look on Kate’s face exactly right!

  17. danineteen says:

I think their divorce was inevitable, but I reckon it could’ve been avoided if they didn’t agree to have their whole lives televised like that.
