Bearman Cartoon: Barack goes after AIG

I am sure there are plenty of cartoonists doing editorial cartoons this week on AIG.

Barack Obama went after AIG looking for them to not pay the retention bonuses that someone sneakily made a legal obligation.ย  Unfortunately he was too late as the money had already been paid out.

  1. Well played sir, well played.

  2. Michael says:

The challenge I have, not to be a dick, is who is the principal beyond the man who occupies the highest position of power in the free world?

    • Thanks Jelly.

Michael…the only people more powerful than the leader of the free world is those that vote him in. And please feel free to be a dick anytime (not that you were) at least I know someone is paying attention. ha ha

  3. Susi Spice says:

    fight fight fight fight!!

    • Susi…how come I can picture you being the one in the background on the playground that was always pushing two people to fight yet you stayed out of trouble yourself.

  4. tannerleah says:

I like how you made AIG a big, fat whiner. That’s pretty much the image they have these days. (And for the record, I would punch out any guy wearing orange pants as well. It’s just wrong).

  5. hah. thats funny. oh barack….

seriously, can we just GIVE UP on AIG already? i mean, obviously they are just a lost cause of mass proportions

  6. Nice one Bearman. Can’t stand it that you and Michael are having at each other again. Although, I think Susi Spice has it wrong when talking about you two. It’s more like

“Polite exchange of ideas”, “Polite exchange of ideas”, “Polite exchange of ideas”

    Again, nice cartoon

    • Thanks Ram. Why do you think Michael and I are having at each other? He raised a valid question to which I have my personal opinion as an answer. He (or you) may have a different one. Personally I enjoy any dialogue relative to my stuff, whether people agree, disagree or it sparks other commentary.

Unless there something I should know that I am missing. Michael I hope I am not in the doghouse with you.

I think Susi was reacting to the cartoon and pulling out the old playground taunt and not making any reference to Michael or my comments.

  7. George says:

I’m late coming in, but I really dig this comic. Your Obama’s lookin’ good, Bearman. He should have dotted AIG’s other eye.

  8. Bearman, AIG folks now must be told what is happening in the real world and people actually hate them for being *Comment Censored* …. Either ways, at least some one is trying the get things done, I’ve read some where the onus money was asked back! ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Chirag, it would be interesting to see who will actually give it back beyond the really high executives who are only doing it to save face.
