Head over to BEARMANiac and fellow webcomic guy Chris Watkin’s site Odori Park. Today he posted a guest cartoon that I did to celebrate his one year anniversary.
Chris describes Odori Park as a tale of east marries west. It centers on a married couple, Colin (American) and Arisa (Japanese) and their young son, Sprout. I love this comic because not only is Chris an excellent artist he is constantly able to make Odori Park both sweet and funny at the same time.
I of course had to make it a little more edgier but as he said, he had already gone there in a different toon. And yes the genesis of this cartoon is based on real life, however you have to reverse the male/female roles to better reflect what happens in my household.
