Bearman Cartoon: Mannequin Revisited
I am nothing if I don’t listen to my fan base. The other day I posted a cartoon about the Mannequin controversy at KT’s Barbecue in Cincinnati. Well according to George, Myra, and Ram, my choice of being modest and not drawing nipples would not go unnoticed. (Update: Add Robert J to the list of original requesters.)
And George thought it would have been funny if some kid erased the “M” off “Mass” to make it say “Ass”. I could only think of one kid who could be responsible. George Ford’s own Hank Addanac at AddanacCity.
So for all of you I give you the revamped toon.

New Cartoon Wednesday
Don’t have a new one myself but some of my favorite “undiscovered” cartoonists have new toons up that you should check out.
Addanac City - A comic strip about Hank Addanac (part Dennis the Menace, part Bart Simpson, part Michael Meyers).
Calamities of Nature – when animals talk, people listen. (even though he was on the front page of Digg yesterday, I’ll still put him in here)
Life with Kreg – if Jeff Spicoli were a teenager today.
Spud Comics – The Far Side without the Cows
The Frustrated Cartoonist – Mad Magazine contibutor. Part webcomic, part diary.
And while not a cartoonist herself, The Daily Uplift, has an hilarious animated commercial for Bontrust Bank. You have to wait for it though.
Anyone else a cartoonist that people should check out. Put it in the comments section.

George Ford of Addanac City Guest Cartoon
A few weeks ago I highlighted the work of George Ford and showcased the guest cartoon I did for his cartoon strip Addanac City. Instead of his strip style, I used my typical editorial cartoon style.
George has returned the favor by creating an editorial cartoon for me in his style and using his main character Hank. I love it. I can just see Madoff trying to reclaim his fortune by acting like one of those “royal monarchs” that everyone gets spammed with.
George is letting me post it here first before he posts it on his site so go check out his stuff as he is now updating his cartoons SEVEN days a week. I give him a month before he burns out. (j/k George).
Also be sure to check out George’s Addanac City blog as it has different stuff than the main site (one day he will figure out how to meld the two or I’ll figure it out and be able to tell him but he is more web literate than I so I doubt it)
Click on the picture to get it bigger or you can probably see it bigger on the AC site.
Bearman Cartoon: Guest Toonist on Addanac City
One of my frequent visitors and a member of my blog roll is the creator of a great webtoon called Addanac City (where the heck he got the name Addanac from it don’t know – someone thought it was Canada backwards with an extra “d”).
Anyway, the main character of the cartoon is Hank. I see Hank as a cross between Dennis the Menace and Bart Simpson. He has Barts “eat me” attitude but sometimes the naivete of Dennis who does bad stuff but doesn’t always realize the effect he has on others.
After my guest cartoon run on Unemployed Dad, George (the mastermind behind Addanac) invited me to work on a guest cartoon for Addanac City in my editorial cartoon style. Hank has a whacked out hairdo and I always questioned why. So I came up with my own answer.
I’ll post it here tomorrow, but for now go visit AddanacCity.com and see my take.
