    Anyone that has ever wanted to learn to cartoon has at some point come across one of the books of Christopher Hart.   I know I have two of his books on my shelf, “How to Draw Animation” and “How to Draw Cartoons for Comic Strips”   Well somehow the publisher of his books, Sterling Publishing, knew I was a fan and asked if I would like to do a giveaway of his latest book “Cartoon Faces – How to Draw Heads, Features & Expressions”

    Unfortunately this is open only to my US and Canada readers (sorry Australia, Tasmania and UK – when I publish my own book you will be eligible but don’t hold your breath for that to happen).  If you are interested just comment with the phrase “ENTER ME PLEASE” and you will be in.  You have until end of day on Tuesday to get entered.

    Popcorn Giveaway.  My wife and I are regular visitors to a store in our area.   Patty’s Old Fashioned Popcorn.   Gourmet Popcorn, homemade fudge and Hawaiian Ice all are good reasons to go but even more are the owners, Pat and Randy.

    So who better to put on a popcorn tin than those two characters.   I am giving away 4 popcorn tins with your choice of Cheese, Caramel or a mixture of the two.  Two here and two on Google plus so you can enter both places.  Enter on google plus here

    I am continuing to try to raise awareness of Head and Neck Cancer.  The horrible form of cancer that took my friend Brandon.  So go like the foundation page on Facebook created in his memory.   Since FB has wonky rules on doing contests and didn’t want to have to make anyone managing the page provide me updates, all I am asking is that if you do “like” the page to just write “LIKED” in your comment along with your city/town.

    My previous post was number 500 of my blog that started in the winter of 2008.  So to commemorate I am doing a caricature giveaway.   You have until midnight Saturday SEPTEMBER 17 to enter (for those of you who are slow to check in).
