Sarah Palin – Mother of the Year

Sarah Palin Mother of the Year Editorial Cartoon

Sarah Palin is back in the news and has my vote to win Mother of the Year.  The day after her son allegedly was drunk and hit his girlfriend, Palin was on the stumping block announcing that she was backing Donald Trump for President.

Rather than postponing that speech to be at her son’s arraignment on Tuesday, she went ahead.  And rather than keeping silent about her son’s legal woes, she decided to turn it into a political statement about how Obama doesn’t care about veterans especially those with PTSD.

I do not disregard any soldiers issues with PTSD and don’t deny that Track could be suffering from that.  But the vast majority of veteran sufferers do not lash out like he is alleged to have done.  In fact one veteran’s organization has already come out saying it wasn’t fair thing to say.

Sarah Palin is lucky enough to have the financial means and the connections to get her son the treatment he deserves.  I wish she would focus on that rather than using PTSD as a political tool to try and bring down the other side.

to someone living outside of the USA, the thought of Trump and Palin becoming leaders of the most powerful nation on Earth fills one with horror – it’s like handing the fate of the world to a couple of immature adolescent kids !

I lost respect long ago for Sarah Palin. Initially, I thought she was something good, Then, instead of finishing out her term as guv’nor after she lost the election, she chose to resign and be the annoying gadfly that no one takes seriously.

  9. Just when you thought we’d seen the last of her. She’s back!

  10. Gruhn says:

There has to be a time when you let the kids go and take care of themselves good or bad.

There is also a time where we let go of our political figures for hopefully better ones. Can we do that now?

Whatever respect I had for Sarah Palin I no longer have, since she began endorsing Donald Trump.
