Yearbook Yourself

George Ford Yearbook Yourself

Above is the illustrious George Ford of Addanac City through the years made in a new discovery called Yearbook Yourself.

Yearbook Yourself allows you to upload a picture and take a look at yourself in a yearbook photo from the years 1950-2000.  I immediately thought of George when I saw this because he still can’t get enough of my  “Things to do with your photos before you put them on Facebook” post I did several years ago.  Now I know how he will spend his President’s Day.  Personally I think 1986 was his best years as he was getting his Kid and Play on.

But he isn’t the only one who loves the manipulated photos.  Brit at Blunt Delivery is also a big fan of my original post.  So here she is in all her splendor (I think they took the 1988 photo template from someone I know).

And lest anyone forget, the two of them were Homecoming King and Queen in 1978.

So head over to www.yearbookyourself.com and let us know what you come up with.

Thanks for the link, Bearman. Shame they don’t have anything earlier than 1950.

  2. Hahaha… AWESOME! On so many levels! Are you going to yearbook your world famous avatar Bearman?

Hmmm… is it a bad sign if the 1998 filter still applies to me today? 🙂

  3. Bo Lumpkin says:

    Ain’t no way. 🙂

  4. nursemyra says:

I did it…. too scary to share

  5. Binky says:

It’s funny how familiar some of those George photos look. Perhaps I knew him in another life.

  6. Ha ha ha,…….bah ha ha ha. ughuh uhuh ehu ehu …hahaha he he he he, te te te.
    lol

  7. Friggin Loon says:

Sheez, George, are these the various character you played in Streets of San Francisco?

1986 must have been your Flock of Seagulls phase.

  8. lisleman says:

That is a fun service that my daughter showed me after I got on facebook. Police departments should use it when they want to frame someone. Have a witness look at a set of these and see if any match.

  9. Jillsy Girl says:

Go take a look at mine! 🙂

  10. You’re kidding me.
and when did I ever say I liked photo manipulation? Only when it comes to barbies!

But I must say that90’s pic looks way better than my actual one…

    sad? Probably.
However im not claiming the homecoming one… im convinced that one is not me.

When did you say it? Go back to the post I linked below. And I quote:

“crap like this will take up my entire day. Thanks for showing the websites i shouldn’t go too. Might be fun to use for some of my blogs though.

      thanks for the linkage love.”

That homecoming one was tough b/c the template had a much rounder face. But George looked so good I had to keep it.

  11. Bo Lumpkin says:

One of the problems with me is that I have the real pictures of me from 1955 (and a little earlier).. and I ain’t sharin’.

  12. MJ says:

This kind of freaks me out. ha,ha,ha!

  13. Dr. Cynicism says:

This is brilliant! I just wish they had the laser background for the ’86 photos. Great find Bearman!

  14. I would totally hit on 1954 George! Babe, I think Bearman may have stumbled upon your few decades worth of missing pictures! Now I can see why they were missing. 😉 You may just grow that 2000 surfer dude look, since you’re now, actually living la vida loca in SoCal! Thanks for the laughs, Bearman! Oh and I think Brit looks great with her 1962, 1974, 1988 and 1992 hairdos. If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear she went to high school with me, 1990 and 1992 look all too familiar! Does anyone else remember the days when we’d use an entire can of Aquanet for our big hair and big bangs?

  15. Colleen Dick says:

OMG. If you do yourself does it count as a form of self abuse?

  16. Nate Fakes says:

Hmm…I gotta try this. Just a question of doing a real photo, or cartoon photo

  17. I had a lot of fun with this a year or so ago, Man there are some Groovy picts in there.

    • Bearman says:

A year ago? Are you telling me I am behind the times. Well that is ok..most of my readers are 2 years behind so I am like breaking news to them.

  18. Jande says:

    Wow! just… wow! Hahah! I rarely let anyone take my picture so that site wouldn’t work for me. But I knew a bitchy woman once who had that exact 1988 hairstyle in Brit’s pics.{{shudder}}

  19. tattytiara says:

Ah haha – oh that is fabulous!

  20. 1976 me ain’t to shabby.

maybe i should bust that haircut when i have a kid. you know, how every woman has to chop her hair off at that time.

  21. Friggin Loon says:

    Were people shorter in 1954?

  22. Comedy Plus says:

Now this is pretty cool. I’ll go have a look.

    Have a terrific day. 🙂

  23. Jande says:

What I want to know is Where is Bearman’s photos? Ok. Maybe I don’t really want to know.

  24. Tony McGurk says:

Ha Ha George sure looks mighty fine in those pics. I should try it as it looks like I could get some fantastic hairstyles.

  25. I’ve seen the 40th anniversary image… ain’t nothing to be proud or ashamed of… life sucks the body into all sorts of contorsions!

  26. The afro will always be timeless

  27. Caz says:

Gave it a try, weeell, none of them were me at all. If they had the fist-in-my-face look that would have been dead-on! 😀

  28. Jason says:

In yesteryear, I was fat. I’d do this just to see what I’d look like skinny back then.

  29. jynksie says:

I’m just pointing and laughing at 1986… what up wid dat hair!?! *smirk*
