Hey – I could understand that. I mean, webcartooning makes me one totally busy dude. Really. And I’m sure I could grab a speaking engagement or two. Really. Hmmm …

  2. jammer5 says:

    What kinda gum?

  3. Nick says:

She’s decided to become a community organizer so she’ll be more qualified for the presidency.

  4. Lynn says:

i dont likeher and all her “family values” crap is definitely hard to believe. the media whores are hard at work in america right along with the all the over rated celebutrash! sorry michelle obama- don’t like you either. don’t smoke the hopium!

  5. Lynn says:

i don’t drink the american koolaid either and i’m sick of the american sheeple following politics blindly without any real research other than mainstream media (CNN and FOX News). i get my news from independent sources–but that’s just me. on another note: i loved your comic today. yeah unfortunately it’s all about the almightly dollar in this country- and seeing just how much crap one can amass. see? this is why i cant comment on politics- i’m too passionate about my beliefs! great post bearman!!

  6. Lynn says:

i’m comitted to anything that’s in the Constitution, otherwise the govt can butt out of my business. bearman, you are very intuitive…..have a great day!

    • At the end of the day, there are few people (self included) that don’t have the almighty dollar in mind on a consistent basis. Personally I don’t fault Palin if this indeed is the reason. I think it is in poor taste the people that will lambast her for her decision b/c they think it might hurt the party.

Sometimes you have to look out for what is best for yourself

  7. jammer5 says:

After she’s done shootin’ all the moose in Alaska, maybe she’ll start a witch huntin’ club. She got em driven out once, she can sure do it again. Wonder what it cost for a good witch hunt nowadays?

  8. yorksnbeans says:

Definitely all about the money with Sarah!

    • But not with YNB?

      • Lynn says:

money is such a relative thing. we need it to survive yes but greed is by far something totally different. perhaps i mispoke…greedy people and corporations are my problem. american businesses closing down here to open up in mexico for the added profit. like walmart for example, i can’t stand that store. did you know that they take out “dead peasant” policies on you once you are hired? see this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ik30ijaBgUA. very interesting..

        • In my mind there is Greedy (which I don’t mind) and deceptive or downright unlawful like a Madoff. I think that link about Walmart is disturbing that they would do that. I understand it for Executives or certain positions. However, we are quick to judge Walmart when many other companies do the same thing. So is it Walmart’s fault (among others) or the government underwriting requirements for allowing someone to take out a life insurance policy on someone else without their knowledge. (Think this loophole has been closed)

  9. AndyCarolan says:

odd for a politician to feel the pull of money isnt it lol

  10. Nice toon Bear, honestly, I hope she’s just trying to monetize her fame and not because she wants to run for president in 2012.

  11. G says:

Of course its about the money.

Gotta finish paying those bills for all of those pesky ethics complaints that she’s been bombarded with this year.

  12. David says:

Which day job? Gov’na or the next contestant on “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here”?

  13. George says:

You did a really good job on Sarah Palin, Bearman. Now, may I have my turn on her? (insert drumroll please). But, no, really, you outdid yourself on this one. And I totally agree with you. Why would she want to remain a lowly paid governor when she can make more just doing speaking engagements and posing in Playboy?

  14. alantru says:

I miss Sarah already… And now I am over her.

  15. John K says:

I just think she is crazy

  16. George
I’ll give you sixty cents if the gum isn’t already chewed. Thirty if it is (and you have an autographed certificate of authenticity).

    jammer5 Says:
Oh, it’s a bidding contest you want, huh George? Okay: sixty one cents and bearman can fake the autograph . . . wait . . . huh?

It is more expensive if it has been chewed. See above Jammer…I’ll send you a WHOLE pack and sign it for a mere $100.
